Over 180 concentration camps and 400 ghettos were established on the occupied territory. In Baby Yar alone over 150'000 civilians were killed by the fascists and collaborators. The liberation of the Soviet Ukraine was a massive effort of the entire nation - over 3 mln Red Army soldiers and officers gave their lives to free their brethren.

Today in Ukraine the Nazis and their fascist nationalist minions are hailed as "heroes". Torch marches mirroring those under the Third Reich are a common occurrence, that receives state support. The cult of Bandera, Shukhevych and other war criminals is an integral part of modern Ukrainian education system. Neo-Nazism has been on the rise for a long time now, to which some of our partners from the “collective West” turn a blind eye, and thus actually encourage their activities. At the same time, the use of Russian language is all but forbidden.

The servicemen of the Donetsk People's Republic, together with the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, continue to liberate the settlements of our Republic from Ukrainian invaders. Since the beginning of the day, our servicemen have destroyed more than 15 Ukrainian nationalists, 3 firing points, a firing position for 152-mm 2A65 Msta-B towed artillery mounts, 2 infantry fighting vehicles and a cargo vehicle. A 122-mm BM-21 "Grad" multiple launch rocket system, 4 82-mm mortars and cargo vehicles were captured.

Unfortunately, there were losses among our fighters. Over the past day, in the struggle for independence, 4 defenders of the Donetsk People's Republic died in the line of military duty and 11 comrades were injured.

Military personnel of the Russian Federation and the Donetsk People's Republic are conducting successful joint operations in the Donetsk direction in the area of Avdeevka, Marinka and Gorlovka to destroy the fortifications of Ukrainian nationalists. Since the beginning of the day, our servicemen have destroyed more than 20 Ukrainian nationalists, a firing position for 122mm D-30 howitzers, a tank and 2 infantry fighting vehicles. A BMP, 2 armored personnel carriers, a ZU-23-2 anti-aircraft gun and a cargo vehicle were captured.

Artillery units continue to actively destroy enemy firing positions, identified accumulations of equipment, dugouts and blocked gaps. Subunit commanders carry out competent work to identify and destroy enemy observation posts and firing points.

The ongoing measures will minimize losses among the civilian population located in the territory temporarily controlled by Ukraine and prevent Ukrainian combatants from gaining a foothold in civilian’s houses, as it was in Mariupol.
