Taking a few minutes at the end of the day to come back into your body and make yourself feel comfortable for bedtime is essential to unwinding at the end of a busy day.

Get ready to feel more at home in your body with these yoga poses to help you sleep and relax into a great night’s sleep.

Taking the time to write each morning, just for a few minutes, can really help you. It allows you to assess your present state, and to refocus on what is important.

Remind yourself of your goals. 10 minutes.

Get Moving!
10 minutes to an hour. It's my shot of daily motivation! It reminds me of what I want to do, why I want to do it, and how I'm going to do it.

REMEMBER! It's not about waking up at 5:30 for the sake of being up before the sun. It's about having the time to get activities done that are known to have a considerably positive impact on our state of mind, our efficiency and our level of happiness.

Expectorant herbs help loosen bronchial secretions and make elimination of mucus easier.

2021-05-20 02:10:50 Herbal Bath Salts, Oils & Tea Soaks

Bathing in herb-infused water helps reduce stress, soothes the skin, and provides a relaxing, spa-like experience.

You can choose herbs for their specific therapeutic benefits, including softening skin, soothing muscles, stimulating circulation, or combatting infection.

Choose from a variety of leaves and flowers to customize your experience based on your specific needs and preferences. Some classic herbs to use as a bath tea, salt soak, or for aromatherapy include lavender, rose, chamomile, calendula, peppermint, rosemary, geranium, grapefruit, orange, fir, cleavers and ylang ylang.

Herbal Tea Bath
• Roses
• Calendula Flowers
• Lavender Flowers
• Peppermint Leaf
• Chamomile Flowers
• Cleavers
• Ginger Root
• Holy Basil Leaf

Directions
Mix your choice of herbs in a jar. Fill a drawstring cotton muslin bag with the herbal blend and drape over the faucet so hot water runs through the bag and creates a tea in the tub. Once the tub is full, toss the tied bag into the water and swish it around to infuse your bath with even more herbal goodness.

Bath Salt Soak
Ingredients

• 2/3 cup salt of your choice:
Himalayan pink salt, epsom salt, or coarse sea salt
• 1/4 cup baking soda
• 10-25 drops organic essential oil of your choice. Lavender, Spurs, sandalwood.

Directions
1. Mix salt and baking soda together until combined.
2. Drip in the essential oil and stir well. Sprinkle 1/4 to 1/2 cup into your bath as hot water fills the tub.
3. Once dissolved, step in and soak your troubles away.

Use these oils instead of solid fats (including butter, shortening, lard and hard stick margarine) and tropical oils (including palm and coconut oil), which can have a lot of saturated fat...

• Corn
• Coconut
• Olive
• Peanut
• Safflower
• Soybean
• Sunflower
• Avocado

In general, choose oils with less than 4 grams of saturated fat per tablespoon, and no partially hydrogenated oils or trans fats.
