@G3News: The U.S. Justice Department is still searching for around 300 suspects six months after the Jan. 6 riot at the Capitol.

The FBI website is asking for information related to the Capitol riot consists of more than 900 photos of about 300 people who are marked as “unidentified.”

The search is on for these hundreds of rioters even after the Justice Department has already arrested more than 500 people, some of whom have pleaded guilty.

@G3News: Iranian state media is reporting that a large explosion rocked an oil field in the western Ilam province which borders Iraq on Tuesday afternoon identified as the Cheshmeh Khosh field.

English language Mehr News cites "reports coming in saying that two people have been killed while another is injured" and featured a photo showing a massive fireball rising above the facility.

Bloomberg subsequently cited local reports which updated to "Three oil workers killed and four injured in explosion on pipeline that transfers oil from the Cheshmeh Khosh field."

@COVID19Up: Rising COVID-19 cases in Israel, where most residents are inoculated with Pfizer's COVID-19 vaccine, offer "a preliminary signal" the vaccine may be less effective in preventing mild illness from the Delta variant, a top expert said Monday.

But Ran Balicer, chairman of Israel's national expert panel on COVID-19, stressed it was "too early to precisely assess vaccine effectiveness against the variant" first identified in India in April that is surging across the globe.

Israel's vaccine rollout that began in December was one of the world's fastest, making it a closely-watched case study on whether mass inoculation offers a path out of the pandemic.

@G3News: The commander of an Iraqi militia backed by Iran is pledging to retaliate against the U.S. after an airstrike along the Iraq-Syria border killed four of his fighters last month.

“We want an operation that befits those martyrs… Even if it comes late, time is not important,” Abu Alaa al-Walae, the leader of Kataib Sayyid al-Shuhada, told The Associated Press, referring to the four militia members killed in the U.S. airstrike.

“We want it to be an operation in which everyone says they have taken revenge on the Americans,” al-Walae said. “It will be a qualitative operation (that could come) from the air, the sea, along Iraq’s border, in the region or anywhere. It’s an open war."

2021-07-06 16:34:58 U.S. Air Force Gives Raytheon $2 Billion to Develop Nuclear Cruise Missiles

@G3News: Last week, the US Air Force awarded Raytheon with a $2 billion contract to develop a new air-launched nuclear cruise missile as part of Washington’s plan to modernize its massive nuclear arsenal.

The missiles, known as the Long-Range Stand-Off (LRSO) weapon, would replace a 1980s era air-launched cruise missile. The LRSOs would be used on long-range bombers, like B-52s and B-1s.

Raytheon, the former employer of Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, is expected to be finished developing the LRSOs in 2027.

@G3News: When brewing giant Coors launched a new advertising campaign earlier this year, the format came as a surprise to many. The company was planning to infiltrate people’s dreams to get them to buy, and presumably drink, Coors beer.

Coors encouraged people to watch a short online video before bed, then play an eight-hour “soundscape” through the night. If successful, this “targeted dream incubation” would trigger “refreshing dreams” of Coors, according to the company.

It’s unclear how many people took part in the dream manipulation, but experts warn that the Coors campaign is not just a gimmick, and may have opened a door to a troubling future.

“They’re trying to push an addictive drug on people who are naive to what’s being done to them. I don’t know if it can get much worse than that,” Bob Stickgold, a cognitive neuroscientist and professor of psychiatry at Harvard medical school, said of Coors’ efforts, which he believed could potentially be replicated by other companies.
