2021-07-04 00:19:37 Ghislaine Maxwell's Lawyers Cite Bill Cosby Case in Bid to Have Sex Trafficking Charges Dropped

@G3News
: Former Jeffrey Epstein confidant Ghislaine Maxwell should have several counts in the indictment against her dropped because she is in a "similar situation" to Bill Cosby, her attorneys said in a court filing late Friday.

They argue that Maxwell, 59, who is alleged to have recruited teenage girls from the mid-1990s to 2004 for Epstein to sexually abuse, was covered by a nonprosecution agreement at the time she was charged.

Cosby was convicted in 2018 of indecent assault in the drugging and sexual assault of Andrea Constand in 2004, when she was a Temple University employee. But he was released earlier this week after the Pennsylvania Supreme Court found prosecutors violated his rights by reneging on an apparent promise not to charge him.

2021-07-03 20:11:21 The Horrifying Rise of Total Mass Media Blackouts on Inconvenient News Stories

@G3News
: Two different media watchdog outlets, Media Lens and Fairness & Accuracy In Reporting (FAIR), have published articles on the complete blackout in mainstream news institutions on the revelation by Icelandic newspaper Stundin that a US superseding indictment in the case against Julian Assange was based on false testimony from diagnosed sociopath and convicted child molester Sigurdur Thordarson.

FAIR's Alan MacLeod writes that "as of Friday, July 2, there has been literally zero coverage of it in corporate media; not one word in the New York Times, Washington Post, CNN, NBC News, Fox News or NPR."

"A search online for either 'Assange' or 'Thordarson' will elicit zero relevant articles from establishment sources, either US or elsewhere in the Anglosphere, even in tech-focused platforms like the Verge, Wired or Gizmodo,"
MacLeod adds.

"We have not found a single report by any ‘serious’ UK broadcaster or newspaper," says the report by Media Lens. "But in a sane world, Stundin’s revelations about a key Assange witness—that Thordarson lied in exchange for immunity from prosecution—would have been headline news everywhere, with extensive media coverage on BBC News at Six and Ten, ITV News, Channel 4 News, front-page stories in the Times, Telegraph, the Guardian and more."

2021-07-03 18:57:23 YouTube Censors Video of Nobel Prize Winner Dr. Satoshi Ōmura Discussing Ivermectin

@G3News
: Before the coronavirus pandemic, ivermectin was described as a “wonder” drug by the medical community. And in 2015, Dr. Satoshi Ōmura and Dr. William C. Campbell were awarded half the Nobel prize in Physiology or Medicine for their work that led to the development of ivermectin.

“The importance of Ivermectin for improving the health and wellbeing of millions of individuals with River Blindness and Lymphatic Filariasis, primarily in the poorest regions of the world, is immeasurable,” the Nobel Assembly stated in its press release for the 2015 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine.

But after the pandemic began, the tech giants have gone all out to purge content that recommends ivermectin as a treatment for COVID-19.

And today, these Big Tech policies against ivermectin resulted in one of Ōmura’s speeches where he discussed ivermectin being struck down for “violating YouTube’s community guidelines.”

2021-07-02 21:12:01 Pressed for Answers on Syria Cover-Up, OPCW Chief Offers New Lies and Excuses

@G3News
: In the two years since the censorship of a Syria chemical weapons investigation was exposed, the head of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), Fernando Arias, has vigorously resisted accountability.

Arias has refused to investigate or explain the extensive manipulation of the OPCW's probe of an alleged April 2018 chlorine attack in Douma. Rather than answer calls to meet with the veteran inspectors who protested the deception, Arias has disparaged them. The OPCW Director General has even resorted to feigning ignorance about the scandal, recently claiming that "I don’t know why" the organization's final report on Douma "was contested."

Facing growing pressure to address the cover-up—most prominently in a "Statement of Concern" from 28 notable signatories, including five former senior OPCW officials—Arias came before the UN Security Council on June 3rd to answer questions in open session for the first time.

In a nod to the public outcry, Arias backtracked from a previous statement that the Douma controversy could not be revisited. But while appearing to suggest that the investigation could be reopened, Arias offered more falsehoods about the scandal, and new disingenuous excuses to avoid addressing it.

@G3News
: Belarus' leader Alexander Lukashenko ordered on Friday the full closure of Belarus' border with neighbouring Ukraine, citing security reasons, BelTA state news agency reported.

Lukashenko told a gathering marking the country's Independence Day that rebel groups that were planning to carry out a coup were uncovered in Belarus, BelTA reported.

"A huge amount of weapons is coming from Ukraine to Belarus. That's why I ordered border-security forces to fully close the border with Ukraine," Lukashenko said.

2021-07-02 19:12:02 June Was Deadliest Month in Afghanistan in Two Decades

@G3News
: A major Taliban offensive has been raging in Afghanistan, particularly in the north, for weeks on end. The latest figures from Afghanistan’s TOLOnews puts June at a troubling height of the war, the deadliest single month in 20 years.

Violence was staggeringly high throughout this period, though exact death tolls for individual days are often in dispute, making the totals, while undoubtedly huge, somewhat in doubt.

The news, culled from government reports, had 638 people who were either military or civilians killed in the fighting, and over 6,000 Taliban also killed in just a single month.

2021-07-02 18:12:42 U.S. Keeping Airstrike Option Open in Afghanistan Until at Least September

@G3News
: The US is keeping the option open to bomb Afghanistan until at least September even though the bulk of its forces are expected to be out of the country sometime this week, US officials told The Associated Press Thursday.

President Biden pushed back the original May 1st withdrawal deadline to September 11th. The US wants to keep at least 650 troops in Afghanistan to guard its embassy in Kabul indefinitely. Several hundred additional troops would stay until September 11th to help Turkey secure the Kabul airport.

The officials, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said the top US commander in Afghanistan, Army Gen. Scott Miller, will leave this week. His authority to bomb the country will then be transferred to Gen. Frank McKenzie, the head of US Central Command.

2021-07-02 16:24:55 Judge Rules to Unseal Documents on Ghislaine Maxwell's Personal Affairs, Including Those That Reveal Epstein's Relationship with the Clintons

@G3News
: A judge has ruled that dozens of documents about Ghislaine Maxwell's personal affairs should be made public, including some that could reveal more about her finances and her relationship to the Clintons.

Judge Loretta Preska said that unsealing the documents would not impact Maxwell's right to a fair trial in November as her lawyers have claimed.

Among the documents which will be made public in two weeks' time will be Maxwell's efforts to quash requests from Virginia Roberts Giuffre, who sued Maxwell for defamation, to obtain her financial records.

Giuffre's lawyers demanded a vast array of documents from Maxwell including "funding received from the Clinton Global Initiative and the Clinton Foundation," according to court filings.

2021-07-02 02:49:43 Here's the text version for those who prefer to read:

Friends,

I had a frustrating night.

Miriam accidentally left our garage door open when she went out last night and someone was able to get into our house while I was upstairs reading in our bedroom.

I heard some shuffling around and wasnt sure what it was but just as I started to get out of bed to check some young dude opened our bedroom door. I yelled something at him, he slammed the door, and I went after him. When I opened the door he was half way down the stairs and sort of fumbled while he pointed a gun at me.

I slammed the door shut, held it closed, and braced for impact. Thankfully he didn't fire. I could tell he was afraid. I waited a couple minutes as I heard at least 2 motorcycles speeding away.

When I came downstairs I saw they had stolen my desktop, my latop, my camera, my backpack with all my sd cards, my camera lenses, all my hardware, and my personal notebooks. I lost everything save for a tripod and one hard drive.

I am thankful things didn't turn out worse, but I am also angry/sad because my computers and cards had all of my interviews for The Pyramid of Power, pics of friends and family, lots of personal thoughts, and my notebook contained the full outline to the fiction trilogy I have been planning to write.

I'm also angry that I didn't have any of my weapons in my room to make use of. Maybe it's for the best.

It's been a few years since I had a gun pointed at me so I am a little shook up. Mainly just frustrated and sad.

In the end, I know it's just material shit and I will take it as another lesson in non-attachment. My desires once again lead to suffering. Lesson learned.

Needless to say, I likely will be out of commission for a few days or a week while I regroup. If you feel like supporting please invest in the Pyramid of Power crowdfunding so I can still make this happen.

Much love

P.s. - to anyone who wants to use this as an opportunity to blame Mexico and the alleged danger of living here - fuck off. People get robbed and shot every single day in my hometown of Houston, Texas.
