2022-04-13 22:58:27 A menstruating woman and a woman who is suffering from post-natal bleeding should continue seeking closeness to Allah (سُبحانه وتعالى) through actions of obedience in Ramadan, moreso in the last 10 days of Ramadan!

SOME ACTS OF WORSHIP THE MENSTRUATING WOMEN CAN ENGAGE IN:

1. Dhikr of Allah, from Tasbeeh (saying Subhan-Allah), Tahmid (saying Alhamdulillah), Takbir (saying Allahu Akbar) and Tahlil (saying La ilaha illal lah).

2. Al-Istighfaar (seeking forgiveness) and Tawbah (true repentance).

3. Listening to the Qur'an.

4. Sending salutations upon the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ).

5. Making an abundance of duaa for herself and the Muslims.

6. Giving charity.

7. Helping others.

8. Cooking for the people who are fasting.

9. Feeding/giving Iftaar to needy people.

10. Reading books of tafseer & fiqh.

11. Reading the meaning of Qur'an.

12. Listening to knowledge/broadcasts of lessons.

13. Participating in circles of knowledge.

14. Teaching knowledge.

15. Enjoining the good and forbidding the evil.

16. Calling to Allah within her scope and capability.

17. Performing all ritual acts of Umrah with the exception of Tawaf.

Also, from the virtue of Allah is that He (سُبحانه وتعالى) writes for a person whatever good deeds he/she used to do before being prevented by something (you will be rewarded even when you are not able to carry it out due to a valid reason).

The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said:
"When a slave (of Allah) falls ill or travels, then he will get reward similar to that he gets for good deeds practiced at home when in good health."
: Sahih Bukhari 2996

SURAH AL KAFIROON — Freedom From Shirk

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:

"Recite (the Surah) 'Say, O you disbelievers!' (Surah No. 109) and then go to sleep at its end, for it is a declaration of freedom from polytheism (shirk)."

ALLAH ANSWERS A GOOD SUPPLICATION

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:

"There is not a Muslim upon the earth who calls upon Allah with any supplication, except that Allah grants it to him, or he turns away from him the like of it in evil; as long as he does not supplicate for something sinful, or the severing of the ties of kinship."

So a man from the people said: "What if we should increase (in it (supplication))."
He (ﷺ) said: "(With) Allah is more."

: Tirmidhi 3573 | Hasan

"He is given one of three things:
either his supplication is answered quickly, or it is stored up for him in the Next World, or an evil equal to it is averted from him."

SURAH IKHLAS — Love For This Surah Will Make You Enter Paradise

Anas (رضي الله عنه) said:

"One of the Ansar used to lead the Ansar in Salat (prayer) in the Quba' mosque and it was his habit to recite Qul Huwal-lahu Ahad (Say: He is Allah the One, Surah No.112) (after Surat Al-Fatiha, Surah No. 1) whenever he wanted to recite something in Salat. When he finished that Surah, he would recite another one with it. He followed the same procedure in each Rak'ah.

His companions discussed this with him and said: "You recite this Surah and do not consider it sufficient and then you recite another. So would you recite it alone or leave it and recite some other." He said: "I will never leave it and if you want me to be your Imam on this condition then it is all right; otherwise I will leave you." They knew that he was the best amongst them and they did not like someone else to lead them in Salat.

When the Prophet (ﷺ) went to them as usual, they informed him about it. The Prophet (ﷺ) addressed him and said: "O so-and-so, what forbids you from doing what your companions ask you to do? Why do you read this Surah particularly in every Rak'ah?"

He replied: "I love this Surah."
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Your love for this Surah will make you enter Paradise."

: Sahih Bukhari 774

Narrated from Amrah bint Abdur Rahman

"The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) sent a man in charge of an expedition, and he used to recite for his companions when leading them in prayer, and he would end (the recitation) with: "Qul Huwal-lahu Ahad (Say: He is Allah the One, Surah No.112)

When they came back, they mentioned that to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and he (ﷺ) said: "Ask him why he does that." So they asked him and he said: "Because it is a description of the Most Merciful and I love to recite it."

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) thereupon said: "Inform him that Allah loves him."

2022-04-12 15:48:47 Duaa Is Worship

Shaykh Uthaymeen (رحمة الله) said:

"Duaa is worship which the person is rewarded for, each duaa is multiplied ten times, up to seven hundred times – if this was the only benefit of duaa, it would suffice."

2022-04-12 14:35:39 The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) narrating about his Lord عزوجل said:

"Allah ordered (the angels appointed over you) that the good and the bad deeds be written, and He then showed (the way) how (to write).

If somebody intends to do a good deed and he does not do it, then Allah will write for him a full good deed (in his account with Him); and if he intends to do a good deed and actually did it, then Allah will write for him (in his account) with Him (its reward equal) from ten to seven hundred times to many more times.

and if somebody intended to do a bad deed and he does not do it, then Allah will write a full good deed (in his account) with Him, and if he intended to do it (a bad deed) and actually did it, then Allah will write one bad deed (in his account)."

• Subhan Allahi wa bi-hamdihi, Subhan Allahil azim

The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said:

"(The following are) two words (sentences or utterances) that are very easy for the tongue to say, and very heavy in the balance (of reward), and most beloved to the Gracious Almighty (Allah):

« سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ، سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ الْعَظِيمِ »

(Glory and praise is to Allah, Glory is to Allah The Most Great)."

: Sahih Bukhari 6682

• La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah

The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said: "Shall I not tell you of a treasure which is one of the treasures of Paradise?"
He (ﷺ) said:

(There is no power and no strength except with Allah)."

THE VIRTUE OF RECITING The Qur'an And Surat Al-Baqarah

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:

"Recite the Qur'an, for it will come on the Day of Resurrection interceding for its companions.

Recite the two bright ones, Surat al-Baqarah and Surat al-'Imran, for they will come on the Day of Resurrection as if they were two clouds, or as if they were two shadows, or as if they were two flocks of birds in ranks, pleading on behalf of their companions.

Recite Surat Al-Baqarah, for reciting it regularly is a blessing and forsaking it is a loss, and Al-Batalah (the magicians) cannot withstand it."

• Qur'an

The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said:

"Whoever reads a letter of the Book of Allaah will be credited with a good deed, and a good deed gets a tenfold reward. I do not say that Alif-Laam-Meem is a letter, rather alif is a letter, laam is a letter and meem is a letter."

• Laa 'ilaaha 'illallaahu wahdahu laa shareeka lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu, wa Huwa 'alaa kulli shay'in qadeer — either 100 times or 10 times or 1 time

The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said: "Whoever says:

« لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ، وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، وَهْوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ‏ »

(None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone, without any partner, to Him belong all sovereignty and praise, and He is over all things omnipotent)

one hundred times will get the same reward as given for freeing ten slaves; and one hundred good deeds will be written in his accounts, and one hundred sins will be deducted from his accounts, and it (his saying) will be a shield for him from Satan on that day till night, and nobody will be able to do a better deed except the one who does more than he."

: Sahih Bukhari 6403

The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said: "He who uttered:

« لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ، وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، وَهْوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ‏ »

ten times, he is like one who freed four slaves from the progeny of Ismail."

: Sahih Muslim 2693 (6844)

The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said: "Whoever says:

« لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ، وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، وَهْوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ‏ »

in the morning will have a reward equivalent to that for setting free a slave from among the descendants of Isma'il. He will have ten good deeds recorded for him, ten evil deeds deducted from him, he will be advanced ten degrees, and will be guarded from the satan till the evening. If he says them in the evening, he will have a similar recompense till the morning."
