A Daily Devotional for March 30, 2021
Read 1Tim.1:19; Isaiah 6:5-6 

The mouth also plays a key role in conscience. It establishes joint-knowledge. The one thing that separates us from the rest of creation is our ability to speak. It is the part of us that reflects God the most. 

When Isaiah saw the glory of the Lord, he was terrified. He cried, “Woe to me! I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips…” Notice that Isaiah wasn’t concerned with his track record, his shortcomings or his behavior. He was concerned with his lips. He understood the role the tongue plays in shaping one’s life. James 3:4 says, “Or take ships as an example. Although they are so large… they are steered by a very small rudder wherever the pilot wants to go. Likewise, the tongue…”  

In response to Isaiah’s lament, the angel took a live coal from the altar and touched his mouth with it saying, “See, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for.” This should remind the New Covenant believer of something: the altar was the place of the burnt offering, which was a foreshadowing of Christ’s crucifixion. 

Isaiah’s sin was atoned for, and his guilt was taken away as a result of what touched his lips. It is no different for us. We are saved by believing in our heart and confessing with our mouth. (Rom.10:9-10) We overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony. (Rev.12:10)

Our life is the product of conscience; our conscience is the product of the tongue.

Life Application
If you have never accepted this gift of salvation, follow the instructions of Romans 10:9-10: “If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” If you have accepted this gift but are struggling with guilt, apply the same process.

Some of you may have heard the news that directive 30 will be reinforced limiting meetings more than 50 people in one place. However, that will only take effect starting this MONDAY and will not affect our service tomorrow. So we will be having Sunday service as planned. Going forward, we will update you whether or not the directive includes religious institutions and how we will comply as a church. Stay safe and stay blessed!

ውድ ቤዛ ፣

አንዳንዶቻችሁ በአንድ ቦታ ከ 50 በላይ ሰዎች መሰብሰብ የሚገድበውን መመሪያ 30 በድጋሚ እንደሚተገበር ዜናውን ሰምታችሁ ይሆናል፡፡ ሆኖም ያ ከፊታችን ሰኞ ጀምሮ ብቻ ተግባራዊ የሚሆን ስለሆነ የነገውን አገልግሎታችንን እንደማይነካ ለማሳወቅ እንወዳለን፡፡ ስለዚህ እንደተለመደው የእሁድ አገልግሎታችንን እናደርጋለን፡፡ በቀጣይነት መመሪያው የሃይማኖት ተቋማትን ያካተተ መሆን አለመሆኑን አጣርተን እና እንደ ቤተክርስቲያን እንዴት እንደምንቀጥል እናሳውቅዎታለን፡፡ ራሳችሁን ጠብቁ እና ተባረኩ! የመጋቢት 18/2013 ዕለታዊ ቃል
1ሳሙኤል 7÷1-17  ይነበብ

እስራኤል በኤሊ ዘመን በፍልስጤማውያን ተማርኮባቸው የነበረውን የቃል ኪዳን ታቦት አስመልሰው በአንድ ሰፈር ውስጥ በአሚናዳብ ቤት አስቀመጡት፡፡ በዚያም ሠፈርና በመኖሪያ ቤት ለሃያ ዓመት ቆዬ፡፡ ይህ የቃል ኪዳን ታቦት ለሕዝቡ ክብራቸው ሞገሳቸውና ኃይላቸው ነበር፡፡  እስራኤልም ያለ ቃል ኪዳን ታቦት ምንም ማድረግ እንደማይችሉ እንደ ተራ ሰው ሆነው እግዚአብሔርን ይከተሉት ነበር፡፡ እንግዲህ በዚህ ወቅት ነበር ሳሙኤል እስራኤልን እንዲመራ ጥሪ ከእግዚአብሔር ዘንድ የደረሰው፡፡

በዘመናት መካከል ሀገርን ለማዳንና ለመታደግ እግዚአብሔር ሲፈልግ መሪዎችን ያስነሳል፡፡ እንዲሁም ከትንሽ ቡድን ጀምሮ ለሀገር ብሎም ለቤተ ክርስቲያን የመውደቅም ሆነ የመነሳት ትልቁን ሚና የሚጫወቱት መሪዎች ናቸው፡፡ መሪዎች በትክክለኛ ዘመን ተነስተው ሲመሩ ሃገር ካለችበት ቀና ትላለች፡፡ ይህ ማለት ሠላምን የሚያደፈርስና የሚያናጋ ይጠፋል ማለት ሳይሆን የእግዚአብሔር አብሮነት ከመሪዎች ጋር ስለሚሆን የዕረፍት ምክንያት ያደርጋቸዋል፡፡ የመሪዎች ትልቁ ፈተና የሚሆነው በአጣብቂኝ ወቅት ላይ የሚወስኗቸው ውሳኔዎች ናቸው፡፡

ምንም እንኳን ሳሙኤል የተረከበው ሀገር ታቦቷ የተማረከባትና ከዚህም የተነሳ ሕዝቦቿ በሐዘን የተመቱ ነበር፡፡ ሕዝቡ በእንዲህ ዓይነት የተስፋ መቁረጥ ዝቅታ ውስጥ ወርደው ሳሉ፣ ሳሙኤል ግን ከዚህ የሚወጡበትን መንገድ ተመለከተ፡፡ ከዚያም የወሰነው ውሳኔ ሕዝቡ ወደ እግዚአብሔር እንዲመለሱና እርሱን ብቻ እንዲያመልኩት ከዚያም እግዚአብሔር ከፍልስጤማውያን እጅ ያድናችኋል እኔም ስለ እናንተ እፀልያለሁ አላቸው፡፡ እነርሱም ሳሙኤልን ከፍልስጤማውያን እጅ ያድነን ዘንድ ወደ አምላካችን ወደ እግዚአብሔር ፀሎትህን አታቋርጥ አሉት፡፡

እግዚአብሔርም በዚያ ቀን በፍልስጤማውያን ላይ ታላቅ ድንጋጤ በመፍጠር ድል እንዲቀዳጁ አደረገ፡፡ ከድሉም በኋላ ሳሙኤል እስከ አሁን ድረስ እግዚአብሔር ረድቶናል ሲል ያንን ሥፍራ አቤንኤዘር በማለት መታሰቢያን አስቀመጠ፡፡ አቤንኤዘር ማለት የሚረዳ አለት የሚል ትርጓሜ አለው፡፡

ዛሬም በግላችን ካለንበት ሁኔታና እንዲሁም ሀገራችን ከገባችበት ቀውስ መንጭቆ የሚያወጣ እውነተኛ አለት የሆነ መሪ አለን፡፡ ይህም አለት ክርስቶስ ሲሆን እስካሁን ድረስ ረድቶናል ወደፊትም በረጂነቱ ይቀጥላል፡፡/1ቆሮ.10÷4/ ስለዚህ እግዚአብሔር ሀገርንም ሆነ ቤተ ክርስቲያንን ከፍ የሚያደርግበትና የሚጎበኝበት  መንገድ በመሪዎች ስለሆነ ከመሪዎች ጋር እንቁም፡፡

የሕይወት ተዛምዶ
እንደ ሀገርም ይሁን እንደ ቤተ ክርስቲያን በየደረጃው ካሉ መሪዎች ጋር አብሮ በትብብር መስራትን ተለማመዱ። ምክንያቱም የዕድገት መሠረት ነውና። አሁኑኑ ጀምሩት፡፡

ፀሎት
እግዚአብሔር ሆይ፣ መሪዎች ሁሌም ቀድመው በሁሉ ረገድ እንዲመሩ እርዳቸው፡፡  Open / Comment

A Daily Devotional for March 27, 2021
Read 1 Samuel 7÷1-17 

In Eli's day, Israel recovered the Ark of the Covenant, which had been captured by the Philistines, and placed it in Abinadab’s house. It stayed there for twenty years. This ark of the covenant was the glory and power of the people. Israel followed God as an ordinary man who could do nothing without the ark of the covenant. It was then that Samuel received a call from God to lead Israel.

In different times, when God wants to save a nation, He raises leaders. It is also leaders who play a major role in the rise and fall of the nation and the church starting from small groups. When leaders rise up at the right time, the country will be on the rise. This does not mean that those who disturb the peace will disappear, but that God's presence with the leaders will cause them to rest. The biggest challenge for leaders is what they decide in difficult times.

The nation that Samuel had inherited was one whose Ark is captivated, and as a result, its people were struck with grief. The people were in such a state of despair, but Samuel saw a way out. Samuel instructed the people to return to the Lord and worship Him only, then he said, "God will deliver you from the hand of the Philistines, and I will pray for you." And they said unto Samuel, "don't stop praying for the LORD our God to deliver us out of the hand of the Philistines”.

God caused a great shock on that day against the Philistines and gave them victory. After the victory, Samuel said, "God has helped us" and named that place Ebenezer. Ebenezer means a rock that helps.

Today, we have a true leader who can pull us out of our current situation and the crisis in our country. This rock is Christ, who has helped us so far and will continue to help us in the future too (1 Corinthians 10: 4). So, let's stand with the leaders because the way God exalts and visits the nation and the church is through leaders.

Life Application
Practice working collaboratively with leaders at all levels, as a nation or as a church, because it is the foundation of development. Start now!!
