2022-04-14 10:16:42 Ibn Masʿūd (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger ﷺ said: “May Allah brighten the face of a person who hears something from us, so he conveys it just as he heard it. And perhaps one to whom it was conveyed is of more understanding than he who heard it.”
عَن ابْن مَسْعُود رَضِي الله عَنهُ قَالَ سَمِعت رَسُول الله صلى الله عَلَيْهِ وَسلم يَقُول نضر الله امْرأ سمع منا شَيْئا فَبَلغهُ كَمَا سَمعه فَرب مبلغ أوعى من سامع

Reported by Abū Dāwūd, al-Tirmiḏī, Ibn HIbban in his Ṣaḥīḥ.
رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد وَالتِّرْمِذِيّ وَابْن حبَان فِي صَحِيحه إِلَّا أَنه قَالَ رحم الله امْرأ

al-Tirmiḏī said it is Ḥasan Ṣaḥīḥ.

سألته عن الرجل يصلي بالناس في رمضان بأجر؟

He replied (in shock): “Does anyone really do that?”
قال: وهل يفعل هذا أحد؟

(So the questioner) said: “A lot of (Imāms) do this.”
قلت له: أكثر من ذاك.

He (ie: Aḥmad): “Do not pray behind such a person, as there is no dignity in that.”
قال: لا يصلي خلفه ولا كرامة.

2022-04-12 19:15:56 And the Maḏhab of al-Dhāhirīyyah or most of them was that there is no qaḍāʾ (ie: making up for the one who deliberately leaves prayer or fasting).
ومذهب الظاهرية - أو أكثرهم: أنه لا قضاء على المتعمد.

And this has also been narrated from ʿAbd al-Raḥmān companion of al-Shāfīʿī in al-ʿIrāq and from son of al-Shāfīʿī's daughter.
وحكي عن عبد الرحمن صاحب الشافعي بالعراق، وعن ابن بنت الشافعي.

And this was the statement of Imām Abū Bakr al Ḥumaydī regarding al-ṣawm wa ʿl-ṣalāt (ie: fasting and the prayer) that if one left them intentionally then there is no making them up.
وهو قول أبي بكر الحميدي في الصوم والصلاة إذا تركهما عمداً، أنه لا يجزئه قضاؤهما.

This is mentioned in his Musnad regarding his ʿaqīdah.
ذكره في عقيدته في آخر (مسنده).

And similar statements occured by our Ḥanbalī mutaqaddimīn (ie: earlier) scholars amongst them.
ووقع مثله في كلام طائفة من أصحابنا المتقدمين،

From them: al-Jawzajānī, Abū Muḥammad al-Barbahārī and Ibn Baṭṭah.

2022-04-12 13:34:16 And some amongst them thought that this (Ḥadīth) is muḍṭarib and its incorrectness (of this opinion) is evident.
وَمِنْهَا أَنَّ بَعْضَهُمْ زَعَمَ أَنَّهُ مُضْطَرِبٌ وَهَذَا غَلَطٌ ظَاهِرٌ

The audacity to reject the Sunan (ie: Prophetic narrations) merely because of desires and weakening the authentic tradition to support al-maḏāhib (ie: their schools of thought).

2022-04-12 04:23:53 al-Ḥākim narrated that: Abū Bakr Muḥammad b. Jaʿfar said: I heard Ibn Khuzaymah being asked: “From where did you acquire knowledge?”
الحَاكِمُ: أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بنُ جَعْفَرٍ، سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ خُزَيْمَةَ وَسُئِلَ: مِنْ أَيْنَ أُوتِيتَ العِلْمَ؟

So he said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “The water of Zamzam is for whatever is drunk for.” And whenever I drank it, I asked Allah for beneficial knowledge.
فَقَالَ: قَالَ رَسُوْلُ اللهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ -: (مَاءُ زَمْزَمَ لِمَا شُرِبَ لَهُ)، وَإِنِّيْ لَمَّا شَرِبتُ، سَأَلْتُ اللهَ عِلْماً نَافِعاً.

2022-04-12 04:20:06 ʿAmr b. Murrah al-Juhnī (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and he said: “O Messenger of Allah! If I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that you are the Messenger of Allah, and I perform five daily prayers, pay al-zakāh, fast in the month of Ramaḍān, then with whom I will be counted?”
وعن عمرو بن مُرّة الجُهنيِّ رضي الله عنه قال: جاء رجلٌ إلى النبي - صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فقال: يا رسولَ الله! أرأيتَ إنْ شهدتُ أنْ لا إله إلا الله، وأنّك رسولُ الله، وصليتُ الصلواتِ الخَمس، وأديتُ الزكاةَ، وصُمتُ رمضانَ، وقُمتُه، فمِمَّن أنا؟

He replied: “You will be counted among al-siddiqin wa ʿl-shuhadāʾ (ie: the truthful ones and martyrs).”
قال: "من الصديقين والشهداءِ".

Reported by al-Bazzār, Ibn Khuzaymah, Ibn Ḥibbān in his Ṣaḥīḥ and this is the wording of Ibn Ḥibbān.
رواه البزار، وابن خزيمة وابن حبان في "صحيحيهما"، واللفظ لابن حبان.
