-ABDUL SHARIFF-Had a pleasant morning meeting residents of Bedok North in East Coast GRC with Kenneth Foo.
Occasionally, residents would ask if elections are round the corner. This is a piece of information that we would never have until a formal announcement is made. The visits we do are a continuous process, whether elections are coming up or not, to share with residents more about what we do, hear residents’ views, and understand their concerns and needs. Inputs from residents are instrumental in ensuring that we remain relevant and could genuinely represent their interests should we be given the honour of doing so.

Several Bedok Reservoir residents brought up their continuing concerns about the frequency and crowdedness of bus 228 going to and from Bedok Interchange. I am monitoring this matter closely and will continue to raise it in Parliament and with LTA directly where appropriate.

-JAMUS LIM-I belatedly discovered that there was a special occasion today when my wife dressed our little one up in “daddy clothes” and paraded her out with “daddy toys.” Being a father has been one of the most precious, meaningful, and rewarding things in my life (as well as tiring, frustrating, and occasionally discouraging ones, but life contains multitudes).
