Come on down to the Singapore Garden Festival to see this 6-metre high centrepiece display which also features a beautiful waterfall.

This 3.23- hectare green sanctuary within Seletar Aerospace Park provides a conducive wetland environment for biodiversity that inhabit freshwater ecosystems.

Snags (standing dead trees) and habitat islands provide shelter and nesting spots for wildlife. Stroll along the boardwalks and nature trails and try spotting dragonflies and birds! Open / Comment

Unlike most birds, it is the males of the Greater Painted Snipe (Rostratula benghalensis) that take on parental duties. The male incubates and raises the young, while the more brightly coloured female only lays eggs before reproducing with other males.

This rare Critically Endangered resident can be found in marshes and wetlands, such as Punggol, Seletar, Lim Chu Kang, Marina South, and Marina East.

Responsible pet ownership starts young. There are still vacancies for educational activities like Doggie Detectives and a Parent and Child workshop revealing what goes on behind the scenes at the vet clinic. Slots are filling out fast!

Its orange-ringed eyespots, at the base of its wings, help to ward off predators or distract them from attacking more vital parts of its body!

When you think about identity, do you think about plants?

At Home: Made with Plants, view photographs, stories, cultural objects, and plants from different Southeast Asian communities. Learn about how food makes a house into a home, and the relationship between people and plants!

This exhibition is a collaboration between the Singapore Botanic Gardens and SayurStory, a ground-up initiative co-created by migrant domestic workers in Singapore.
