Home-made pet treats are not only budget-friendly, but also help ensure that they are made from natural ingredients and lower in calories.
Make your own chewy, tasty, and healthy treats! You can cut small strips of lean meat and dry them in an oven, or dehydrate fruits and vegetables.

A catfish walks into a forest…
Well to be exact, the Forest Walking Catfish (
Clarias leiacanthus) wiggles in a snake-like manner across land, using its pectoral fins to keep itself upright in the process.
This allows it to travel to nearby aquatic environments, as it lives in slow-moving and stagnant waters such as forest streams and swamps.

Don’t eat these – they aren’t blueberries or grapes!
If you happen to chance upon the critically endangered Queen Coralbead (
Cocculus orbiculatus), do resist the urge to pick these fruits to eat as they are inedible. Although these attractive fruits closely resemble grapes, only the stem, roots and leaves are known to be used in traditional medicine.
Interestingly, its leaves are where the most variety lies! They range from lance-shaped to broad and round.
